Join us in supporting Indigenous First Steps: Family, Culture, Community, a powerful collaboration between Native and Indigenous community members, early childhood programs across Oregon, and Portland State University.
This program fosters culturally centered early learning by honoring Indigenous knowledge systems and revitalizing Native languages, cultures, and oral traditions. Through a 12-credit online undergraduate/graduate Early Childhood Professional Development Certificate and community-based learning rooted in Indigenous Ways of Knowing, IFS strengthens the early childhood workforce and builds pathways that reflect the cultural wealth of Native communities
