Protect Oregon’s Future: Invest in Cybersecurity Education

The Mark O. Hatfield Center for Cybersecurity plays a vital role in protecting Oregonians from cyber threats by supporting the Oregon Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (OCCoE). As cyber-attacks grow more sophisticated, the need for skilled professionals has never been greater.

Due to a lack of federal funding, our greatest need is generous donations toward our summer Cyber Camps for high school students. Your gift ensures these programs remain 100% free for students across the state, giving them a head start in a high-skill, high-wage, high-demand career that secures our collective future.

This weeklong experience provides high school students with a comprehensive introduction to the rapidly growing field of cybersecurity. With hands-on learning experiences, industry guest speakers, and expert instructors and a simulated workplace scenario, NW Cyber Camp is a valuable career exploration and skill building activity for students. Here's how your gifts would impact the campers:

  • A donation of $15 can provide a camper's t-shirt
  • A donation of $75 can provide a camper's lunch for the week
  • A donation $360 can provide a teacher's wages for a day
  • A donation of $750 can provide 25 campers with registration for cyber competitions

And any amount helps!

By supporting the OCCoE, you’re investing in the future of cybersecurity—one that keeps Oregon’s communities and institutions safe. Thank you for making an impact today!
