Support Portland Metro STEM Partnership
Help us ensure every student — from preschool through high school — has access to high-quality, engaging STEM learning that opens doors and expands possibilities.
Who We Are:
Portland Metro STEM Partnership is a pre-college program department within the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science at Portland State University, and one of 13 Regional STEM Hubs in Oregon. That statewide network exists for exactly this purpose: to ensure that where a student grows up never determines what they get to learn.
Who we serve:
Our region spans five school districts — Banks, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Forest Grove, and Portland Public Schools — and is home to nearly 20% of all Oregon students. We serve as a bridge between K–12 schools, out-of-school programs, community-based organizations, industry, and government — connecting the people and resources that make equitable STEM education possible
What we do:
Portland Metro STEM Partnership (PMSP) is a pre-college program at PSU that provides a full range of free supports to our school and community partners: STEM activity coaching, professional development, curriculum development and support, course and program support, access to our lending library of equipment, and STEAM programming — and that's just the beginning. We meet educators where they are and help them bring rigorous, culturally responsive STE(A)M to every learner, especially those who have historically been underserved.
