For 50 years, WGSS has been a vital hub on campus and in the city where students engage critically with feminist, gender, and LGBTQ+ studies. One look at the news on a given day tells us that our work in challenging how power operates across race, class, sexuality, gender, and disability is still vital. We prepare students not only to understand the world, but to change it. At a time when our field—and the communities we support—are under attack, this work is more urgent than ever.
