At the College of Education, we believe the future of our schools begins with strong pathways into the education profession and meaningful connections between educators, students, and communities. Preparing the next generation of teachers, counselors, and leaders requires more than coursework — it takes mentorship, inspiration, and opportunities to see the impact of education firsthand.

The Dean’s Fund for Excellence supports opportunities that strengthen the education community and expand access to the profession. Through this fund, we can:

• Create Pathways: Welcoming youth to campus to explore careers in education, counseling, and leadership and connect with PSU students and faculty.
• Open Doors: Inviting scholars, practitioners, and policy leaders to campus for conversations that bridge research and real-world practice.
• Strengthen Community: Recognizing outstanding educators and community partners, highlighting partnerships with local schools, and showcasing student and community work.
