CLAS Student Hardship Fund

Make a gift to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) Student Hardship Fund and your contribution can be used to support our students in their time of need.

Our students juggle many responsibilities and could be one minor crisis away from having to make the difficult decision to leave Portland State. The CLAS Dean’s Office works together with PSU to identify campus resources and/or alternative solutions to students’ emergent or unexpected needs.

Common hardships include, but are not limited to:

• Rent support
• Utility support
• Auto maintenance
• Unexpected prescriptions (not covered by insurance)
• Reliable internet
