Help our emerging artists, architects, filmmakers, musicians and performers devote their creative energies to learning, making art and achieving their dreams—no matter their obstacles.
During these last few years of economic turbulence, many College of the Arts students have suffered job losses, pay reduction, food insecurity, loss of childcare and other disruptive challenges, putting their ability to continue their studies at risk. Many students continue to experience financial difficulties even as they remain committed to completing their degrees in the arts.
Your gift to the College of the Arts Student Hardship Fund can provide immediate support to students in need to cover academic and personal expenses, such as housing, medical bills, groceries, utilities. Even a small amount makes a difference.
What your gift can provide:
- $10 can purchase a meal at Victor's Dining Center
- $30 can purchase groceries for a student experiencing food insecurity
- $50 can cover the cost of one month of Internet service or electricity
- $100 can help cover childcare costs
- $500 can help cover the cost of rent, car repairs, or medical expenses due to an emergency
