School of Social Work Student Emergency Fund

The PSU School of Social Work(SSW) is proud to participate in the PSU Day of Giving by raising funds for our SSW Student Emergency Fund!

The SSW Student Emergency Fund supports students who are facing financial crises. Many students have accessed the fund over the years to help pay for things like food, housing, medical expenses, and other essential needs as they work toward completing their degree.

Student Sage Johnson said this about the SSW Student Emergency Fund:
"The SSW Emergency Fund came as such a relief to my family and me while we were still feeling the financial effects of COVID-19. In struggling with the decision to remain in school, the emergency funding could not have come at a better time. I hope that the Emergency Fund continues and that future students can receive the help they need to be successful in school."
