Portland State Men’s Track & Field and Cross Country is building momentum under Head Coach Joseph Blue, with a young and talented roster already making an impact this season.
After wrapping up the indoor season, the Vikings have transitioned into a strong outdoor campaign, with sights set on the Big Sky Outdoor Championships this May. Early in the season, the team has delivered standout performances, including seven freshman top-10 marks at the PNW Invite and a freshman record from Jack Macdonald. Senior Daniel Coppedge continues to lead the way, breaking his own school record in the hammer throw for the fourth time in his Portland State career.
With personal bests stacking up and a culture focused on growth and accountability, this team is showing what the future of Vikings Track & Field looks like.
