Portland State Women’s Soccer continues to build momentum as a competitive force in the Big Sky Conference. With four consecutive Big Sky Tournament appearances, the Vikings have established a culture of consistency, resilience and growth under Head Coach Maureen Whitney.
This season, the Vikings showcased one of the conference’s strongest defenses—allowing just five goals in Big Sky play and never conceding more than once in a match. Goalkeeper Natalie Cunningham led the conference in save percentage during league play, while a veteran back line anchored by Liv Frazier and Kalo Iongi helped set the tone.
The team’s success is reflected in its recognition across the conference, with six Vikings earning All-Big Sky honors—the program’s most in over a decade. On the attack, players like Ocean Rideout and Aliayha Saldana continue to create opportunities and deliver in key moments.
